On June 13 the popular Café Tiburón in Port d'Aiguadolç offered to a small group of guests (family, journalists and friends) the best cuisine and attention to celebrate its anniversary in style. With a Mediterranean cuisine and both international and Gallic touches, the restaurant opened 15 years ago and has been akready 12 offering their best culinary creations at Port d'Aiguadolç.

Mas Can Colomé was responsible for adding the touch of class to drink. The wines and sparkling wine from the cellar of Sant Marçal gathered a select list of palates such as Albert Om, known journalist, presenter, director of Catalan radio and television programs, Bibiana Ballbé, C 33 -Catalan television presenter; or the prestigious French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier.

Adictos a la Lujúria, blog dedicated to wine, champagne, food and wine tourism in Spain, tasted on June 2010 Blanc Mediterrani 2009 (DO. Penedès) and published the following review:

Paradoxically the soil of some areas of the DO. Penedes, such as where Mas Can Colome i splaced, produce wines with high acidity thanks to the limestone soil and heatstroke. This potential is unclear on Turonet 2009, a potential to appreciate and enjoy with the passage of time, today, at least to my palate and my stomach, it is very hard, very acid. In Blanc Mediterrani 2009 from simplicity and balance, this acidity feels more integrated, allowing us to enjoy both the optimum temperature of a young white wine and some more degrees.

Next Saturday May 29th, we are looking forward to meet you at 5:00 p.m. at the Chocolate Museum of Barcelona, at a party for children and not so young ones that aims raising funds to support children with cancer.

Mas Can Colomé is a regular contributor to AFANOC and Amics Joan Petit, two associations dedicated to children with cancer created to raise awareness and to inform society about the existence of childhood cancer. This year we wanted to continue contributing a bit by organizing together a special event in which everyone can enjoy the solidarity of people, around a delicious cup of chocolate. We will also count with the special performance by Gerard Quintana.
